FINALLY a few weeks ago I purchased a new computer (after 2 1/2 years, people. I KNOW!!) and along with that I said WHAT THE HELL to an ipod.
It's on shuffle right now, shuffling my 7500+ or something songs. And Wilco's "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" comes on.
That song reminds me of a certain someone from my past and the flood of memories that comes to me whenever I hear it is so visceral. I'm transported to sitting on the corner of his bed in front of his stereo while he's in the shower and I'm listening to the words thinking, "did he put this on on purpose?"
